Referral from a
Drunken Man
Two sister missionaries were walking down a street in Gaborone when a drunken
man motioned for they to come to him.
Normally, and as they have been instructed, they would avoid drunken men
like the plague. However, they both felt
they should talk to him. With slurred
speech he told them his mother needed them.
She was a member and was very sad due to a death in the family. He gave them the address. At the address, the missionaries found Sister
Letuka and her family; all of whom had been inactive in the Church for many
years. The missionaries provided comfort
and hope to the family. As a result, all
of the family has been reactivated and are fully participating in the Gospel.
