I Want to Thank Myself

After her baptism, Alice bore her testimony. In her testimony she said, “I would like to thank myself for walking by the Church and wanting to visit.” That day she had seen the phone number in the window of the storefront used by the Church for a chapel in Bethlehem. She called the number and asked if she could visit the meetings on Sunday. Naturally, Elder Chamberlain told her she was welcome to come.

As he hung up, Elder Chamberlain realized that just a few days earlier he had noticed that the phone number shown was incorrect and had corrected it.
